Prayer time calculation methods

Two timetables for one city can differ by half an hour. Dhuhr and Maghrib follow clear solar events, so they barely change. Fajr and Isha depend on how far below the horizon the sun must be, and authorities choose different angles.

Which method should you use?

Follow your local mosque if you can, because praying and fasting together matters more than a few minutes on a timetable. If you have no local reference, choose the method your community uses. Every city page lets you switch method, and your browser remembers the choice.
